An intermediate-to-senior DevOps engineer supporting the GCSB's Computer Network Operations R&D team in Wellington, owning the platforms, tools and CI/CD pipelines that automate, test and release software for NZ's intelligence mission. Core stack: Python, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, GitLab and Linux (RHEL). Requires NZ citizenship/residency and TSS clearance eligibility.

We are looking for an intermediate-to-senior DevOps Engineer with a broad technical toolkit to partner with our specialist Computer Network Operations (CNO) Research & Development team. Our CNO DevOps function goes beyond "traditional" DevOps - it underpins the full lifecycle of the GCSB's Computer Network Operations, an important enabler to enhance GCSB's intelligence mission.
The role:
In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with CNO R&D Engineers, Developers, Infrastructure Engineers and Operators to automate, test and release software at speed and scale. You will own the platforms, tools and pipelines that keep the CNO environment reliable, secure and ready for rapid capability evolution, while embedding continuous-integration/continuous-delivery (CI/CD) practices that meet the unique demands of an intelligence-focussed organisation.
