The role develops and optimizes CNC programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis machining centers and mill-turn equipment, sets up and operates machines, and works with production, engineering, and quality teams to produce precision parts.

The CNC Programmer is responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs used to manufacture precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, fixtures, and machine capabilities, along with the ability to interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and customer specifications. The CNC Programmer works closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure programs support efficient machining, dimensional accuracy, and high-quality production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, implement, and refine CNC programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis machining centers and mill-turn equipment.
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, and turning.
- Interpret and analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the appropriate machine settings and adjustments.
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, adjustments, and maintenance performed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
