Be the one building AI-powered experiences where they matter most.

At Genesys, we help organizations create better customer experiences through AI-powered experience orchestration. Our platform connects people, systems, data and AI to help organizations deliver more personalized service, improve operational efficiency and build stronger customer relationships.

Help build, support and operate technology used by more than 8,000 organizations in over 100 countries – moving AI from possibility to production in real-world enterprise environments every day.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a AI & Cloud Security Consultant to join the North American Security, Privacy & Compliance Centre of Excellence (COE SPC).

This role is ideal for an experienced cloud or security professional who has built, secured, operated, or defended enterprise cloud environments and is ready to transition into a highly technical customer-facing consulting role. We are looking for someone who enjoys solving complex security challenges and wants to help customers securely adopt AI-powered cloud technologies.

This is not a compliance, GRC, or traditional pre-sales solution consulting role. You will work directly with enterprise security teams to advise on AI and cloud security, communicate the security capabilities of Genesys Cloud, and support customer security reviews, technical assessments, and audit engagements.

Success in this role requires practical cloud security experience, strong technical credibility, excellent consulting and communication skills, and the ability to translate complex security concepts into clear, practical guidance for both technical and executive audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical security advisor for customer engagements, influencing secure adoption of Genesys Cloud AI capabilities across enterprise environments

• Lead architecture discussions that improve security posture, scalability, and resilience of customer cloud deployments

• Design and communicate AI security strategies that reduce risk, strengthen governance, and align with enterprise security frameworks

• Drive customer security reviews, audits, and technical assessments, ensuring clear articulation of security controls and risk mitigation approaches

• Translate complex security architectures into actionable guidance for both technical teams and executive stakeholders

• Guide remediation strategies for vulnerabilities and penetration testing findings, improving overall platform security and customer confidence

• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance teams to align security messaging and technical accuracy

• Build long-term trusted relationships with customer security leaders, positioning Genesys as a strategic security partner

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, application security, or related technical security disciplines

• Strong expertise in AWS security, cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, APIs, and modern SaaS security models

• Proven experience securing enterprise cloud environments and cloud-native applications

• Experience securing cloud-native applications and an understanding of modern AI security risks. Practical experience with Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, or AI-enabled solutions

• Hands-on experience applying the OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications, OWASP Agentic AI Security Guidance, and modern AI security best practices to secure AI-enabled cloud solutions.

• Deep understanding of identity and access management, encryption, data protection, and DevSecOps practices

• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence

• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences

• Experience supporting enterprise security assessments, audits, or customer-facing security engagements

• Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior security leaders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI red teaming, adversarial testing, or AI model evaluation frameworks

• AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, or similar certifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and security automation

• Background in SaaS or cloud-native software organizations
