Cloud Platform Engineer based in Caversham, Reading (UK), building and running cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure — using Terraform/Bicep, CI/CD via Azure DevOps or GitHub, plus cloud networking, security, IAM, governance/monitoring, and PowerShell/Python scripting. AWS and Linux knowledge is a plus.
Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar CI/CD tooling
Experience in cloud infrastructure and platform engineering

Responsibilities:
Design, build, and improve Azure cloud platforms and services
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or similar tools
Build automation and CI/CD pipelines
Implement cloud networking, security, identity, and governance controls
Support cloud architecture and new technology implementation
Build and deploy infrastructure and platform services supporting Product and Data solutions
Work with technical teams to ensure new services are secure, supportable, and production-ready
Provide specialist technical support and escalation for complex cloud platform issues
Develop automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar tools
Contribute to monitoring, documentation, platform standards, and operational readiness
Participate in an out-of-hours/on-call rota for critical services when required

The role focuses primarily on Microsoft Azure, with AWS used where there is a clear business or technical requirement.
