Designs and builds cloud-based, event-driven backend systems for an e-commerce client using Java and Kotlin with Spring Boot, and owns the DevOps side with Terraform, Docker, GitLab CI/CD and AWS. Hybrid role in Madrid, collaborating in an international team with German colleagues.
You will be involved in the implementation and Devops process of cloud-based business systems for an important e-commerce customer.
Development of system design & technical architecture together with Product owner based on business requirements.
You will work in an international environment, together with our German colleagues.
At least 5+ years of experience as backend developer with Java and Kotlin.
Design of technical architecture with the ability to consult and guide the team.
Solid experience using Spring Boot for building RESTful interfaces and event driven architecture.
Solid experience using Terraform, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, AWS and web security.
Good sense for software quality, testing and engineering processes.
Good English skills, written and spoken.
Nice to have: Experience in Prometheus, Grafana and NoSQL databases e.g. MongoDB.
