About BlueTeam Networks

BlueTeam Networks is a security-focused Managed IT Services Provider serving businesses throughout Ohio. We partner with organizations that rely on technology every day—including law firms, accounting firms, healthcare organizations, manufacturers, construction companies, and other professional service businesses.

Our clients trust us to do more than fix computers. We help them build secure, reliable, and modern IT environments through Microsoft 365, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, automation, and strategic guidance.

We're looking for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving problems, taking ownership, and continually improving both technology and processes.

About the Role

This is not a traditional help desk position.

You'll be responsible for owning client issues from start to finish, whether the solution involves Microsoft 365, networking, Windows servers, security, cloud services, or endpoint management.

Every day is different. One hour you might troubleshoot a Conditional Access issue. The next you may be deploying a new workstation, resolving a networking problem, implementing Intune policies, or improving a client's security posture.

If you enjoy variety, continuous learning, and helping businesses succeed through technology, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Do

• Own support requests from initial response through successful resolution.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Windows, networking, cloud, and security issues.
• Configure and support Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Autopilot, Conditional Access, and Microsoft 365.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows workstations and Windows Server environments.
• Support Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, switching, wireless networking, and internet connectivity.
• Perform onsite installations, troubleshooting, and client visits when needed.
• Manage endpoint security, vulnerability remediation, and security best practices.
• Assist with infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and client projects.
• Document solutions and improve our internal knowledge base.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend permanent solutions instead of temporary fixes.
• Collaborate with teammates while maintaining ownership of assigned work.
• Build PowerShell scripts or automation where appropriate to eliminate repetitive tasks.

What Success Looks Like

Successful engineers at BlueTeam Networks:

• Take ownership instead of passing problems to someone else.
• Research before escalating.
• Think critically instead of following checklists blindly.
• Communicate proactively with clients.
• Produce documentation that helps the entire team.
• Learn continuously.
• Care about security in every recommendation they make.
• Leave systems better than they found them.

Technical Experience

We're looking for someone who is comfortable working independently with most of the following technologies:

Microsoft Technologies

• Microsoft 365
• Exchange Online
• Microsoft Entra ID
• Intune
• Autopilot
• Conditional Access

• Identity security best practices

MSP Tools (Experience with any is a plus)

• Hudu
• Fortinet
• Microsoft 365 Admin Center
• PowerShell

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years supporting business IT environments.
• Previous Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience strongly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting methodology.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality.
• Strong documentation habits.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Bachelor's degree is not required. We value demonstrated technical ability, curiosity, professionalism, and experience over formal education.

This Position Might Not Be Right For You If...

• You prefer repetitive work over solving new problems.
• You become frustrated when switching between different client environments.
• You rely on others to provide the next troubleshooting step.
• You dislike documenting your work.
• You're uncomfortable learning new technologies on a regular basis.
• You view cybersecurity as someone else's responsibility.
