Role Description
The Stop Loss Claims Analyst is responsible for receiving and processing claims submitted by our third-party administrators. As a member of this team, you will receive and accurately input claims data and process low dollar claims. This role requires attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to manage your time in order to meet deadlines and metrics. To be successful in this role, one must be flexible, able to manage their time independently and open to learning and growth.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Initial point of contact in the claims department.
- Setting up claims.
- Conducting analysis of submission materials.
- Utilize claim notices to determine appropriate claim action.
- Communicate with third party administrators to discuss claim submissions.
- Adjudication of claims up to a specific dollar limit.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Precise attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication, collaboration, and written skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; handles multiple workstreams with deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Desire to be a part of a collaborative team.
- Open to learning and taking on new challenges.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
