Chief of Staff

Description

Who we are

Freedx is a newly established cryptocurrency exchange focused on building a scalable, compliant, and liquidity driven trading platform. Our team brings deep experience across crypto exchanges, payments, market structure, and financial infrastructure. Freedx is built for serious traders and emerging markets, with a clear focus on unit economics, operational discipline, and sustainable growth.

Our vision

Freedx aims to be a trusted global exchange by combining strong liquidity, efficient onboarding, and disciplined growth execution. We focus on long term retention and monetization rather than vanity metrics, ensuring that growth directly translates into trading volume, revenue, and profitability.

About the role

The chief of staff operates as the CEO's extension across Freedx, owning execution on cross-functional priorities and providing analytical, operational, and strategic support. The role requires a generalist capable of switching between deep analytical work, programme management, and stakeholder coordination on demand.

Core responsibilities

CEO support and executive operations
Build financial models, scenario analyses, and decision-support materials directly for the CEO. Take ownership of ad hoc analyses spanning commercial, operational, and strategic questions. Track CEO-directed actions across the organisation and drive them to completion. Prepare briefings, board materials, and external communications.

Product and cross-functional programme coordination
Own delivery oversight across product, engineering, and operations workstreams. Maintain visibility on critical path items, dependencies, and milestone health. Run the operational cadence: weekly reviews, milestone tracking, risk escalation. Act as the integration point between functions where handoffs typically break.

Cross-departmental liaison
Translate CEO priorities into actionable workstreams across operations, finance, marketing, legal, and compliance. Resolve interdepartmental friction before it reaches the CEO. Surface issues with proposed solutions, not just problems.

Reporting and analysis
Build and maintain executive KPI dashboards. Produce performance reviews, market analyses, and competitive intelligence. Synthesise data from multiple business units into clear narratives for internal and external audiences.
