Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analyze data to develop new processes or improve existing ones
- Design process flow diagrams, equipment specifications, and operating procedures
- Collaborate with other engineers to ensure efficient integration of processes
- Monitor production processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Train and mentor junior engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in process design within the chemical industry
- Strong knowledge of process simulation software (e.g. Aspen Plus)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in English is required, Arabic language skills are a plus
