About All In One Accounting

All In One Accounting is a 7-time winner of the 50 Fastest Growing Companies in the Twin Cities and one of the Best Places to Work in the Minneapolis area. Our purpose is simple: to make the lives of entrepreneurial and nonprofit leaders better. We do that by supporting profitable growth, protecting assets, and amplifying impact — bringing financial clarity and strategic leadership to the clients who need it most. We run on EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), which means clear goals, strong accountability, and a team that executes with intention.

The CFO Role at All In One Accounting

At AIOA, the CFO is the single owner of the client relationship — fully and without ambiguity. Client realization, utilization, Net Promoter Score (NPS), retention, and growth all come back to you. You report to your Managing Director, who owns the practice system around you. Below you sits a team of Accountants and Controllers who execute the work and escalate relevant issues to you. You own the relationship, the outcomes, and the accountability that comes with both. In EOS terms, your Managing Director holds you accountable to your results — and you hold your team accountable to theirs.

About this CFO Role

We're seeking a strategic Professional Services CFO to own a book of client relationships and provide executive-level financial leadership to consulting firms, law practices, marketing agencies, staffing companies, and other expertise-driven businesses. At AIOA, the CFO is the single owner of the client relationship — fully and without ambiguity. Client realization, utilization, NPS, retention, and growth all come back to you. You'll LMA a team of Senior Controllers, Controllers, Senior Accountants, and Accountants. The relationship, the outcomes, and the accountability are yours.

Now About You

We hire for hungry, humble, and smart — and our CFOs demonstrate those qualities at the highest level of individual client ownership. Hungry means you treat your book of business like it's yours — because it is. You stay current, push your clients to think bigger, and bring ideas that go beyond what was asked. Humble means you listen before you advise, build trust before you challenge, and invest in the people on your team as a genuine priority. Smart means you read organizations quickly, communicate with clarity and authority, and make complex financial strategy feel accessible. You own the relationship, the outcomes, and the accountability that comes with both.

LMA Accountability

In EOS, LMA — Leadership, Management, and Accountability — is the framework through which every leader fulfills their people responsibilities. As a CFO, your LMA accountability covers your delivery team: you are responsible for the relationships, metrics, and outcomes of every team member who reports to you. You develop your people, hold them accountable to quality and timeliness, and escalate issues proactively to your Managing Director.

How Business Development Works at AIOA

At AIOA, a dedicated Business Development team handles lead generation and pipeline management. As a CFO, your role in growth is to deepen the value AIOA delivers to your existing clients — identifying expansion opportunities, strengthening relationships, and ensuring every client on your book sees AIOA as indispensable. When BD surfaces a qualified prospect, you may be brought in as the subject matter expert to help close. But your primary growth accountability is your existing book.
