Build the Future of Client Advisory Services with WNA: Listed on Accounting Today's List of Top 100 Firms to Work for.

WNA CPAs is proud to have made Accounting Today’s list of Top 100 Firms to work for! We are currently seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead client accounting and advisory services while working closely with clients and firm leadership across a variety of tax, accounting, and consulting engagements.

This is more than a traditional accounting manager role. As our firm continues expanding its advisory and client accounting services, we are looking for someone who enjoys helping business owners make better decisions and improve financial visibility, developing staff, and building scalable systems that drive growth.

If you enjoy combining accounting expertise, technology, process improvement, and client advisory work, this may be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.

Why Professionals Choose WNA

• Flexible scheduling that supports work-life balance

• Hybrid work environment

• Significant autonomy and ownership over your work, priorities, and client relationships

• Unique hourly compensation model—get paid for the time you work

• Approximately 45-hour average workweeks during tax season

• Approximately 36-40 hour average workweeks throughout most of the year

• Opportunity to help shape and grow a developing advisory practice

• Direct access to firm leadership and decision-makers

• Meaningful client relationships and advisory work

• Clear opportunities for professional growth and advancement

• Accessible path to partnership

Unlike many public accounting firms, our professional staff are compensated for the time they work. We believe exceptional performance should be rewarded, not penalized. In staff surveys, flexibility is consistently identified as one of the firm’s greatest strengths. Whether you prefer to start your day early, work later in the day, work remotely part of the week, or attend important family events, we believe great professionals can also have fulfilling lives outside of work.

At WNA, we trust our professionals to manage their responsibilities, make informed decisions, and take ownership of their work. Our team operates within a clearly defined priority system that provides direction while allowing individuals the flexibility and autonomy to determine the most effective path forward. We believe talented professionals do their best work when they are empowered to think critically, solve problems, and contribute ideas—not simply follow instructions.

Who Thrives in This Role?

This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working directly with business owners and helping organizations improve financial visibility, operational efficiency, and decision-making.

You may be a strong fit if you are currently a:

• Senior/Supervisor seeking greater leadership responsibility

• Accounting Manager looking for more client interaction and advisory work

• Controller interested in working with a variety of businesses and industries

• Public Accounting professional seeking a broader role beyond compliance work

• CAS professional looking to help build and shape a growing advisory practice

The most successful candidates are technically strong, client-focused, collaborative, and comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy. They take initiative, manage competing priorities effectively, communicate proactively, and don't wait for someone to tell them the next step. They enjoy being trusted to make decisions, solve problems, and take ownership of outcomes while contributing to the success of the broader team.
