We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3D CAD Draftsperson to join our automation team. This role will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining detailed 3D models and technical drawings to support product development and manufacturing.Key Responsibilities:Develop precise 3D CAD models and 2D drawings based on design concepts, sketches, or specifications.Revise and update existing drawings to reflect engineering changes.Work closely with engineers and designers to ensure models and drawings meet functional and manufacturing requirements.Maintain drawing and model documentation in accordance with company standards.Support prototype builds and provide accurate drawings to manufacturing teams.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.Associate's degree in Drafting/Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field .Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar).Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, tolerancing, and technical drawing standards (GD&T experience a plus).Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and production staff.Company Benefits:Health, Vision, Dental InsuranceHealth Savings AccountLife and Insurance401(k) MatchingEmployee Assistance ProgramFlexible Spending AccountPaid Holidays, Vacation and Sick TimeProfit SharingCoilcraft is an Equal Opportunity Employer: Veterans/Disabled.
