C&S Engineer - Technical Sales & Support

Job Summary

You will drive business development and technical education for engineering software, bridging clients and developers to enhance design quality and tool usage across Asia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development and marketing strategies for Otte’s engineering software products and services.
• Deliver hands-on training, workshops, and webinars to educate engineers on software applications and best practices.
• Diagnose and resolve clients’ technical issues to prevent misuse of software tools and clarify underlying engineering principles.
• Act as a technical liaison between engineering teams and software developers to communicate needs and feedback effectively.
• Promote sound structural design practices using CSi, IDEA StatiCa, Seequent, and related software applications.
• Participate in the development, testing, and feedback process to improve engineering software solutions used in the region.

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in structural design of reinforced concrete and steel buildings.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficiency with ETABS, IDEA StatiCa, or other finite element method (FEM) software, with eagerness to learn additional tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Commitment to continuous learning of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
