We are seeking a hands-on Business Systems Analyst to improve end-to-end processes, increase the effective use of Pronto Xi and replace manual spreadsheets with controlled, integrated solutions. This role suits someone who can understand operational challenges, translate them into practical system improvements and follow each change through to successful adoption, working closely with our management team.
Working across operational and corporate teams, you will help improve and simplify existing processes, improve data quality and deliver measurable business benefits. You will work directly with our workshop, warehouse, field service and finance stakeholders, giving you the opportunity to make a visible impact across a national operational business.
The opportunity
Review current processes, identify gaps, duplication, delays and control weaknesses, and design practical future-state solutions.
Engage with users and managers to understand business needs, define requirements and agree expected outcomes.
Configure and enhance Pronto Xi using standard functionality wherever practical.
Prepare clear functional specifications and coordinate approved changes with internal teams, programmers and vendors.
Plan and lead testing, user acceptance, implementation, training and post-implementation support.
Migrate processes and data from spreadsheets or other manual tools into approved business systems.
Improve integrations, system-of-record responsibilities, data quality and process controls across the systems environment.
Develop user guides, work instructions and training materials that support consistent use of new processes and carry out one on one training.
Monitor adoption and confirm that completed improvements deliver the expected operational and financial benefits.
Maintain requirements, decisions, testing evidence, configuration records and change documentation.
About you
You are practical, analytical and comfortable working with both frontline teams and senior stakeholders. Be able to move from process discussions to detailed requirements, system configuration, testing and training without losing sight of the business outcome.
At least three years’ experience in business systems, business analysis or ERP improvement.
Strong practical experience with Pronto Xi across multiple business processes or modules.
Demonstrated experience improving operational processes and delivering system changes from concept through to implementation.
Experience preparing functional specifications, coordinating data migration and leading user acceptance testing.
Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data cleansing, reconciliation and validation.
Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate documentation and follow changes through to completion.
Willingness and ability to travel interstate and regionally to our regional offices.
Desirable experience
Experience with integrated platforms such as CRM, Microsoft 365, safety or cloud systems would be beneficial.
Why join us?
Make a visible contribution to business performance and operational efficiency.
Work with a broad range of operational and corporate teams.
