Job Description:
Quevera is seeking a highly skilled Business Process Engineer – Agile/Scrum with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph in Linthicum, Maryland.
In this role, you will serve as the Scrum Master and coordinator for a cross-functional technical team, supporting enterprise-wide integration of engineering efforts through Agile/Scrum practices and business process improvement initiatives. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coordinate project activities, and support business process modernization and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Remove impediments and blockers, shield the team from external interruptions and scope creep, and support team productivity.
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum principles and practices while fostering continuous improvement and team self-organization.
- Track and communicate team metrics, including velocity, burndown, and sprint health.
- Apply process improvement and engineering methodologies to support business process modernization projects.
- Assist the Government with transitioning existing project teams and facilitating project activities and objectives.
- Coordinate across multiple project teams to support enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts.
- Document and track initiatives and epics to support their completion.
- Define, implement, and maintain business processes and procedures aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze existing business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and develop continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with customer and company proposed standards.
- Collaborate with customers and developers to integrate new and existing business processes.
- Apply best practices in business process analysis, reengineering, process measurement, and change management.
- Work with stakeholders to identify business requirements, processes, and risks, and recommend solutions for process improvements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
- Seven (7) years of experience conducting Business Process Reengineering (BPR) activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a business discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Five (5) years of experience utilizing Process Improvement methodologies (e.g., Agile technologies, Six Sigma) for GOT integration programs.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Experience with Scrum/Agile teams, including managing teams.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience in a government contracting environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
