Job Description

Business Intelligence Developer

Location: Thorpe Park, Leeds, United Kingdom, Hybrid working.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Join us as a Business Intelligence Developer! At Lowell, we're looking for a BI Developer at the start of their career who's excited by data, naturally curious, and keen to learn. Whether you've recently graduated or have a year or two of experience under your belt, this is an opportunity to develop your skills while helping us build a stronger data-driven culture.

Working as part of our UK Business Intelligence team, you'll partner with stakeholders across the business to understand reporting needs, build insightful Power BI dashboards, and help automate reporting processes that support smarter decision making. You'll use SQL and Power BI to turn complex data into meaningful insights, while working closely with our Data Management team to ensure key metrics are accurate, accessible and well documented. As we continue to develop our data and reporting capabilities, we're looking for someone who enjoys asking questions, spotting opportunities for improvement, and bringing fresh ideas to the table.

What we need from you:

• You've recently graduated or have up to two years' experience in a BI, reporting, analytics or data-focused role.

• You're confident using SQL and can write and understand complex queries.

• You've worked with Power BI and enjoy creating visualisations that help people understand and act on data.

• You have strong communication skills and enjoy building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

• You're able to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights.

• You're naturally curious, enjoy problem solving and are always looking for ways to improve how things are done.

• You have a keen eye for detail and take pride in producing high-quality work.

If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every requirement – don’t worry, still apply. Your unique perspective could be just what we’re looking for.

What you’ll get:

• A discretionary annual bonus to reward your impact

• 3% flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit your lifestyle, whether that’s extra cash, more holiday, or added health cover.

• Hybrid working for the best of both worlds—collaboration and focus.

• Free onsite parking, saving you time and money.

• Recharge and refresh opportunities with 28 days of holiday plus public holidays, and the option to buy up to five more—giving you more time for what matters most.

• Peace of mind with life assurance that supports your loved ones, no matter what.

• A culture that celebrates you and supports your wellbeing – with recognition awards, access to on-site gym facilities, and a variety of wellbeing initiatives offered throughout the year to help you stay balanced, resilient and feeling your best.

• Encouragement to be your authentic self at work by joining one of our vibrant employee networks—like Rise (Gender), Proud (LGBTQIA+), Culture, or Spark (Neurodiversity & Disability) - and connect with a community that celebrates and supports you.
