Are you the type of BI professional who enjoys building solutions rather than simply maintaining reports? We are partnering with a well-established New Zealand business looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to take ownership of reporting, data modelling, and data warehouse development across a diverse and operationally focused Rental Car environment.
This is an opportunity to work closely with stakeholders throughout the business, transforming data from multiple sources into meaningful insights that support commercial and operational decision-making. This role reports into senior leadership, and will play a key part in the continued development of the organisation's data and reporting capability.
You will be responsible for: - Developing, enhancing and maintaining the organisation's data warehouse.
- Integrating data from multiple business systems and ensuring data integrity across reporting environments.
- Designing and developing Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for a broad range of stakeholders.
- Creating and optimising SQL queries, data models and reporting datasets.
- Analysing operational and financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Supporting business leaders with meaningful insights that drive performance and decision-making.
- Recommending improvements to reporting, data capture and business processes.
- Maintaining reporting standards, data quality and governance practices.
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver practical solutions.

To be successful, you will bring experience in: - Advanced Power BI development, including DAX and Power Query.
- SQL Server and complex SQL query development.
- Data modelling and reporting design.
- Data warehouse development and maintenance.
- ETL/ELT processes and data integration.
- Working with multiple source systems and large datasets.
- Communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Highly desirable experience includes:
- SSIS
- SQL Server Management Studio
- Data warehouse architecture
- Financial or operational reporting environments
- Microsoft Azure data technologies
