About the company
Our client is a fast-growing software company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own the top of the sales funnel by running daily outbound phone outreach to business software decision makers and turning conversations into qualified first meetings. Partner closely with senior sales and executive leaders to refine messaging and contribute to a new outbound sales process.
What you'll do
- Make cold calls every day using a power dialer, targeting senior executives and go-to-market leaders at B2B software companies.
- Convert outbound conversations into qualified, attended meetings against a monthly meeting quota with accelerators above target.
- Join first meetings alongside a senior account executive and own prospects up to that initial sales conversation.
- Work with senior sales and executive leaders to test talk tracks, hooks, objection handling and positioning, and share what works.
- Attend local in-person events and activities to generate pipeline and build relationships.
- Use AI tools and automation for list building, account research and sequencing so more time goes to live conversations.
- Take a hands-on part in designing and documenting the team's outbound approach as it takes shape.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- Roughly 6 months to 2 years of outbound sales experience, with strong cold-calling skills.
- Prior BDR or SDR experience at a B2B SaaS company, selling to technology or B2B software buyers.
- Quota attainment of 85% or higher in previous sales roles.
- A high-energy, personable communication style and a knack for creating curiosity on cold calls.
- Comfort working in an early-stage, fast-moving environment.
- Willingness to attend in-person sales and marketing events.
- A college degree.
- Fluency with AI tools, custom agents and APIs in a sales workflow.
- Ability to work on-site five days per week and start calling at 7:30 a.m. Pacific Time.
Bonus points
- Experience selling to B2B software companies.
- A competitive background such as athletics, debate or entrepreneurship.
