_Based in our Copenhagen HQ, you’ll be the first human connection for the people behind some of the world’s most innovative IoT products. This isn’t about pushing a pitch. It’s about sparking meaningful conversations from scratch, finding the right people, uncovering their challenges, and helping them see how Onomondo can unlock new possibilities for their business.

If you thrive on discovery, love learning about how things work, and want to help companies build smarter, more connected products, this is your moment.

**What You’ll Be Doing

**Your role as BDR is to generate new sales opportunities by initiating high-quality outbound engagement with target accounts. The role drives top-of-funnel growth, creates early customer connections, and fuels the pipeline for AEs, helping Onomondo scale in key markets. This role doesn’t just build a pipeline; it allows innovators to bring more innovative connected products to market faster.

Specifically, your role will consist of the following:

• Execute targeted outbound outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels to generate net-new pipeline (≈ 500 activities/week).
• Identify and engage prospects within our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) across priority verticals and regions.
• Qualify prospects through discovery to assess business needs, timing, and fit, ensuring opportunities meet handover criteria.
• Build knowledge in our core verticals (logistics, mobility, etc.) to strengthen outreach relevance and customer understanding.
• Book meetings with qualified prospects and hand them over to the assigned Account Executive with full context.
• Maintain CRM hygiene: update lead stages daily, log all outreach activities, and manage tasks in HubSpot.
• Collaborate with MRAs to refine prospect lists, improve targeting, and share market feedback.
• Continuously test and adapt messaging for personalization and relevance, based on response data and conversion insights.
• Participate in weekly pipeline syncs and feedback sessions with AEs, BDR Team Lead, and RevOps.

**What You Bring

**

• Fluent English; you’ll prospect and collaborate in English.
• Ideally, experience in a BDR/SDR role within complex B2B sales (e.g. SaaS, connectivity, hardware, or tech-enabled services), where you have experience targeting ICP accounts, managing outreach cadences, as well as a proven track record in cold calling and messaging
• We are equally open to candidates who have built strong communication and resilience in other high-paced, people-facing environments (e.g. hospitality, service industry, or other roles that require consistent interpersonal engagement).
• Demonstrated consistency, resilience, and drive in high-pressure settings – whether professional or personal (background in competitive sports at a high level is considered a strong plus).

**Nice to Have Skills:

**

• HubSpot proficiency - you’ll be expected to manage your own sequences, track activities, and keep your pipeline data squeaky clean.
• Familiarity with IoT or connectivity space - helps you speak the customer’s language and spot relevant use cases from day one.
• Experience with vertical-specific outreach (e.g., logistics, manufacturing, smart devices).
• Prior experience in a high-growth tech or startup environment, where speed, iteration, and ownership are part of the culture.
• We believe great outbound talent comes from many backgrounds. If you’re commercially curious, love a good conversation, and want to help businesses solve real problems, we want to hear from you, even if your path looks different.

**Soft Skills:

**

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong listener and question-asker.
• Ability to build rapport quickly and guide conversations with empathy and structure.
• Organized, proactive, and resilient, able to navigate rejection and iterate fast.
• Collaborative mindset with a team-first attitude and a desire to grow.

**Why join Onomondo?

**We’re not just building another connectivity layer – we’re reimagining how global IoT connectivity works from the ground up. With customers like Maersk and global use cases across industries, we’re tackling problems that have never been solved before.

You will experience:

• Impact with purpose: Your work will help product builders solve real-world problems, from logistics to health to sustainability, through better connectivity.
• Clear growth path: Consistently hit 10 SQLs / €6.6K pipeline per month, and we’ll set you up for fast-track promotion to senior BDR as a first step towards other commercial roles.
• Invested in your growth: Regular coaching, hands-on learning, team challenges, and quarterly off-sites to level up and celebrate wins.
• Real conversations, real people: We focus on quality, empathy, and relevance in every message, every call, every time.
• A workspace that’s one-of-a-kind, in both design and energy
• A team that’s small, sharp, and all-in on shipping meaningful things fast, with room for your voice and fingerprints on what we build.
• A playful, ambitious culture where people are trusted to do what they do best.
• Catered fresh lunches, snack heaven, and events that actually bring people together.
