The Opportunity
As a Business Development Representative, you’ll play a key role in growing Mutual Materials throughout the South Puget Sound.
This is a field-focused sales role for someone who enjoys meeting people, developing relationships, identifying opportunities, and turning those opportunities into new business. You’ll work with builders, architects, contractors, designers, and other industry professionals to introduce them to Mutual Materials and develop long-term partnerships.
We’re looking for someone who is hungry to succeed, takes initiative, and enjoys being out in the market creating opportunities.
Salary: $60,000–$75,000 + auto allowance
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through calls, emails, networking, jobsite visits, and industry events.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with builders, architects, contractors, and other key decision-makers.
- Develop a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and consistently follow up.
- Learn the construction industry and become a trusted resource for customers.
- Present Mutual Materials products and solutions based on customer needs.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop new opportunities and grow the business.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and consistently track sales activity.
- Take ownership of your territory and work toward established sales and revenue goals.
