Business Development Representative (Intern)

Juna AI brings AI to the factory floor. Our AI agents run in real industrial plants – cement kilns, chemical reactors, paper machines – and help manufacturers produce more efficiently with less energy and fewer emissions. Juna is recognised by Gartner and Forbes as a leading industrial AI company and backed by Kleiner Perkins and Norrsken, the investors behind Google, Amazon and Anthropic. Our founders have led engineering teams of up to 2,500 people and launched more than 50 internet companies.

We operate on the factory floor, not in slide decks. At Juna, you’ll solve high-stakes problems in the real world – chemical plants, paper lines, steel mills – and cut emissions of the biggest polluting industries in the world. We move fast, work face-to-face, and care about outcomes and solving customer problems. Juna is the place where you’ll experience the most impactful and productive time of your career.

• Real impact from day one: Your outreach opens doors to some of Europe's biggest manufacturers – from cement and paper to coffee roasting. You'll see your work turn into real customer conversations.
• Learn from the best: Work hand-in-hand with our founders, who have built and scaled companies like Rocket Internet and Delivery Hero, alongside world-class engineers and applied researchers.
• A steep learning curve: Get hands-on experience in enterprise sales and see how deals with large industrial companies come together, from first contact to signed contract.
• Help build something from 0 → 1: Shape how a fast-growing AI company builds its sales engine – your ideas get tested, not filed away.
• A team you'll enjoy: Weekly team lunch, weekly workouts and a team that values open communication and diverse perspectives.

We’re looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial SDR/BDR to help us build Juna’s commercial engine. You’ll work directly with our CEO and Founding AE, driving the top of our sales funnel — from lead generation and qualification to outbound campaigns, automations, and first customer interactions.
This role is perfect for someone who’s already gained 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, loves building relationships, and wants to grow fast in an early-stage AI company tackling real-world industrial problems.

Your Role

• Identify and reach out to high-potential manufacturing companies (food, chemicals, cement, paper, etc.)
• Research accounts, build targeted outreach campaigns, and engage decision-makers via LinkedIn, email, and events
• Experiment with sales automation tools and continuously improve our lead generation process
• Support creation of sales materials, demos, and case studies with the broader team
• Work closely with our AE to qualify leads and build a predictable pipeline

• Student or recent graduate in business, economics, engineering or a related field
• First experience in sales, business development or a customer-facing role is a plus – internships, working student jobs and student initiatives all count
• Strong communicator – you enjoy writing clear, engaging messages and connecting with people
• Organised and analytical – you like structure and improving processes
• Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, curious and not afraid to try new things
• Bonus: technical study background
• Fluent in English – German is a plus
• Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin

• Berlin-based, on-site. We work together in person in our Berlin office.
• Full-time internship, 3–6 months, flexible start date
• Working language is English. German is a plus, but not a requirement.
