Role Overview:
The Marketing & Business Development Intern will support the Group’s marketing, communications, research, business development and strategic initiatives across its service lines and regional offices. This entry role offers practical exposure to corporate communications, digital marketing, stakeholder engagement, event coordination and business growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Marketing, Brand & Communications
- Support the development of marketing materials, brochures, articles, presentations and digital content.
- Assist in managing Adili Group’s social media platforms and content calendar.
- Support campaigns, thought leadership, executive profiling and video content production.
- Create content to enhance the visibility of Adili’s service lines and regional offices.
2. Research & Business Development
- Conduct market, industry and competitor research.
- Identify potential clients, partners, tenders and business opportunities.
- Support the preparation of market briefs, presentations and business development reports.
- Assist with CRM updates, opportunity tracking and database management.
3. Regional & Service-Line Support
- Support marketing and growth initiatives across Risk Advisory, Cyber, AdilZone and the Group’s regional offices.
- Assist in developing country-specific content and supporting market-entry initiatives.
- Coordinate information and updates from teams across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda.
4. Events & Stakeholder Engagement
- Research relevant industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.
- Assist with event planning, invitations, registrations, logistics and follow-up.
- Support webinars, executive engagements and partnership activities
5. Partnerships, CSR & Strategic Initiatives
- Assist in coordinating partnerships and collaborative projects with external organisations.
- Support CSR, sustainability and social impact initiatives, including related communications and reporting.
- Assist with initiatives involving Adili Group, ALN Academy and other strategic partners.
6. Reporting, Proposals & Administration
- Support the preparation of management updates, campaign reports and business development trackers.
- Assist with proposal and tender preparation, including research, drafting, formatting and quality checks.
- Maintain organised records of marketing activities, stakeholder engagements and project deliverables.
Key Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good research, analytical and organisational skills.
- Interest in marketing, communications, business development and corporate advisory services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms.
- Attention to detail, creativity, initiative and willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively across teams.
