Business Development Executive at BairesDev

In this role, you'll be a ground-floor commercial hire at a new company backed by BairesDev, working in a small team with direct exposure to leadership. The market is the data behind AI: you'll connect companies that hold valuable real-world data with the leading AI labs. You'll decide which markets to go after, build the strategy to reach them, and turn conversations into qualified leads. It's your opportunity to see how deals in a fast-moving AI market get found and closed.
What You'll Do:

- Run outbound demand-gen campaigns for specific data asks, researching the segment, building the target list, and reaching decision-makers via calls, email, and LinkedIn.
- Work the leads generated, both outbound and inbound, running the conversations, understanding the prospect's data assets and ownership and consent situation, and converting the good ones into qualified leads.
- Hand qualified leads to licensing partners with the context they need, including data type, volume, ownership and consent, and contacts, staying on point for the prospect during the partner's process.
- Manage the prospect lifecycle in the CRM from first contact through qualification, keeping the pipeline clean.
- Report pipeline status and market feedback to the team to adjust targeting and messaging.

What we are looking for:

- 3-7 years of professional experience in sales or business development roles.
- Hands-on outbound prospecting experience, including cold calls, email, and LinkedIn, as an SDR/BDR or in a similar outbound-focused role.
- Background selling to or working with US-based customers or teams.
- Experience working for B2B companies.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
