Equifax’s US Information Solutions (USIS) business unit is seeking a strategic Business Development Executive to join our Insurance sales team. The USIS business unit transforms massive consumer and commercial datasets into actionable consumer and commercial risk, identity and fraud, and data-driven marketing insights that create a competitive advantage for our customers and open new opportunities for consumers.

This Business Development Executive position will focus on owning and growing Equifax's presence in the InsurTech industry through net-new business acquisition. Our ideal candidate loves to win and thrives on the thrill of chasing down new logos and strategic market expansion. If you are a natural at prospecting and discovery, possess a humble yet resilient nature, and bring a proven track record of driving outbound outreach to close Enterprise accounts, this role may be a match!

• Execute Strategic Discovery: Research prospective clients' business imperatives—including risk, fraud, and marketing strategies—to define and execute sales strategies that drive profitable growth and meaningful value.
• Build Enterprise Relationships: Network to build strong foundations with economic buyers, decision-makers, and influencers, seamlessly connecting them with relevant Equifax counterparts.
• Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead account strategy motions, leveraging internal solution and delivery teams effectively at appropriate times to advance and win opportunities.
• Manage Procurement: Respond effectively to prospect RFIs and RFPs.

What experience you need

• Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience
• B2B Sales Experience: 7-10+ years of full-cycle, net-new B2B sales and business development experience (prospecting to close) targeting Enterprise clients
• Complex Solution Selling: Proven experience selling risk, data, credit, or similar complex solutions into InsurTech, platform companies, or carriers strongly preferred
• Sales Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM platforms, specifically Salesforce, and other sales tools such as Gong, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
• Executive Presence: Superior written and oral communication skills
• Hunter Mentality: A resilient, agile, and self-disciplined approach with a sense of urgency and a "play to win" drive to deliver results

What could set you apart

• Industry Expertise: Direct experience working in sales at a credit bureau or working at or selling into InsurTechs with an understanding of the insurance regulatory environment
• Humble & Coachable: A collaborative team player who takes feedback with humility and the confidence to adapt and try again
• Strategic Thinker: An intellectually curious, insights-driven mindset
