Business Development Associate

About Zoom Drain | Who we are:

Zoom Drain is a growing, customer-focused company specializing in drain and sewer services for homeowners and businesses. As the continuation of a third-generation family business, we’re known for fast, reliable solutions that put customers first, built on our core values of Grit, Responsibility, Optimism, and Willingness.

We invest in our people. Real training, real advancement, and a challenging environment for people who want to build a career, not just clock in.

The Role | What you’ll be doing:

Love the chase of a new deal more than the comfort of a routine? As a Business Development Associate at Zoom Drain, you'll grow our client base across Philadelphia and the surrounding PA suburbs by finding homeowners, property managers, and contractors who need us and turning those conversations into signed business. You'll learn the full sales cycle, from first outreach to close, in an industry where demand never dries up. This is a launchpad role: you get real training, a company vehicle for the road, and a clear path up if you perform.

Essential Functions | What you'll own:

• Pipeline building: Prospect and reach out to homeowners, property managers, and contractors across the Philly metro to keep a steady flow of new opportunities
• Closing: Build proposals, negotiate terms, and close new business
• Client follow-through: Respond fast, deliver on what you promise, and keep existing clients happy enough to refer us
• Field visits: Meet prospects and clients on site throughout the metro area using a company vehicle
• Market awareness: Track competitor offerings, pricing, and customer trends, and share what you learn to sharpen how we sell
• Handoffs: Work with operations and marketing so what you sell gets scheduled and delivered right
• Your numbers: Log activity and pipeline in our CRM, know your metrics, and hit your targets
