We are looking for a motivated and high-ownership Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive outbound prospecting, generate qualified opportunities, and support revenue growth across the D2C and eCommerce ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will be confident with cold calling, proactive in prospect research, and comfortable engaging with founders, business owners, and senior decision-makers. This role offers an opportunity to build strong sales fundamentals while working closely with senior leadership and taking increasing ownership of the sales process.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume and high-quality outbound cold calls to prospective customers.
• Identify and qualify potential prospects within the D2C and eCommerce ecosystem.
• Execute multi-channel prospecting campaigns through cold email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and phone outreach.
• Research brands, founders, decision-makers, and business requirements to personalise outreach.
• Engage with prospects and effectively communicate the value of the product or solution.
• Handle objections and work to convert initial resistance into meaningful conversations and demonstrations.
• Schedule qualified product demos and maintain a consistent pipeline of sales opportunities.
• Conduct product demonstrations independently as product knowledge and experience develop.
• Initiate and support free-trial activation for qualified prospects.
• Follow up consistently with prospects throughout the evaluation and trial process.
• Coordinate with sales and leadership teams to move qualified opportunities toward subscription closure.
• Maintain accurate prospect information, activities, follow-ups, and pipeline stages in the CRM.
• Conduct pre-event and post-event prospecting campaigns around relevant industry events.
• Identify event-related opportunities and schedule meetings with relevant prospects.
• Track outreach activity, conversion rates, meetings booked, trials started, and other sales KPIs.
• Continuously experiment with messaging, channels, and prospecting approaches to improve conversion.
• Maintain professional and timely communication throughout the prospect journey.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 0.6–1 year of experience in outbound sales, SDR, BDR, inside sales, tele-sales, or a similar role is preferred.
• Freshers with strong communication skills and a demonstrated interest in sales may also be considered.
• Strong confidence and willingness to make frequent cold calls and initiate conversations with new prospects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage confidently with founders, business owners, and senior decision-makers.
• Strong persuasion, objection-handling, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to research prospects and personalise outreach based on business context.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and disciplined pipeline management.
• Comfortable using LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, and other digital prospecting channels.
• Strong target orientation with the ability to consistently work toward activity and meeting-generation goals.
• Persistent and resilient attitude when handling rejection and challenging prospects.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple prospects and follow-ups simultaneously.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a high-ownership environment.
• Interest or experience in D2C, eCommerce, SaaS, technology, or digital businesses will be an advantage.
• Strong learning mindset with the ability to quickly understand products, customer problems, and sales messaging.
• Willingness to take increasing ownership of demos, trials, and the broader sales process.
