The Position
As a Business Architect, you will define and maintain the architectural vision and strategy for the Roche organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and supporting the adoption and implementation of Roche’s Reference Architecture. Acting as the authority and guardian of the Reference Architecture, you will create comprehensive solutions, promote best practices, and ensure architecture components and building blocks are reusable, scalable, and align with established standards. Through collaboration across the organization, you will lead efforts to integrate applications and systems effectively, drive innovation, and uphold the architectural integrity of Roche's customer-facing products. Furthermore, you will play a key role in advancing Roche’s common platform strategy by contributing to its scalability, reliability, interoperability, and alignment with the needs of digital medical products and engineering teams.

Who you are
Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, with at least 10+ years of experience in business/reference architecture and shared platform strategies.
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of platform strategies, architectural governance, APIs, and shared services models. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and frameworks like TOGAF or SAFe is highly valued.
