The position

We're looking for a Business Analyst with a strong software background and experience working in fast-moving SaaS, scale-up or start-up environments to help shape and deliver technical solutions that support FYI's continued growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, influencing technical direction and contributing to a market-leading SaaS platform.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Engineering and business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications, user stories and solution designs.

• Analyse business processes, system integrations and support escalations to identify root causes, define practical solutions and drive continuous product improvement.

• Collaborate with Engineering to define APIs, data flows and technical requirements that support scalable, high-quality product delivery.

• Contribute to product roadmap development and sprint ceremonies by providing client, technical and business insights that influence priorities.

• Drive successful feature releases by supporting go-live activities and continuous improvement across delivery.

About you

• At least 3 years experience as a Business Analyst within a SaaS or technology environment.

• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, integrations and RESTful APIs in Agile delivery environments.

• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications and user stories.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for delivering practical, client-focused solutions.

You'll need valid working rights in Australia and the ability to complete satisfactory background and verification checks as part of our standard recruitment process.

Why work for FYI?

• Highly competitive remuneration aligned to your experience and impact.

• Flexible hybrid working from our Adelaide/Sydney offices.

• Professional development opportunities as FYI continues to scale globally.

• Paid Parental Leave, celebration leave and additional leave at key service milestones.

• Regular team events and company retreats that build connection and alignment.

• A supportive, high-performing culture where your ideas are encouraged and recognised.

Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your alignment to this position and why you want to join FYI.

Our promise is a fair and considerate recruitment process. You'll always hear an outcome from us, and we'll share feedback where we can.
