About Us

We are Queensland’s largest hunger relief charity. Our vision is a Queensland without hunger. We believe that access to healthy food is a basic human right. Each week, we support 135,000 Queenslanders in crisis and provide breakfast to 52,000 children each school week. We work in collaboration with 350 Community Partners and 430 Schools. Alongside food relief, we rescue surplus food that would otherwise go to waste, reducing landfill and protecting the environment. We’re also focused on long-term change, partnering with communities to build fairer, more resilient local food systems.

• Every $1 donated creates 2 meals
• We provide more than 150 meals every minute and over 10,000 meals every hour of operation
• Each year, we provide 12.7 million kilograms of food and groceries, which is the equivalent of 22 million meals and 1.1 million breakfasts
