Join TFI International and play a key role in supporting our fleet financing operations and investment tracking. This position focuses on analyzing and monitoring financial information, as well as producing reports for senior management. The role is based out of Ville Saint-Laurent, Quebec, with the requirement to work minimum 3 days per week at the office. Fluency in French and in English is required.
- Analyze and prepare financing packages for our truck fleet.
- Enter and translate financial information from financing agreements into Oracle.
- Maintain the CAPEX database by ensuring validated information is current and accurate.
- Resolve payment issues with lenders and/or accounts payable teams.
- Conduct detailed fleet analyses as part of acquisition projects.
- Perform monthly reconciliations for long-term leases.
- Prepare lease-to-own agreements for owner-operators.
- Produce month-end reports for management.
- Participate in internal and external audit activities.
- Cross-train with treasury team members and provide support during peak periods.
- Contribute to various ad hoc projects.
- Bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2 to 3 years' experience within a finance and/or accounting department.
- Knowledge of a financial ERP system is considered an asset.
- Strong team player.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Creative approach to issue resolution.
- Self-starter with a high degree of initiative and autonomy.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly intermediate to advanced Excel.
