Our client is a well-established professional services firm delivering large-scale enterprise and citizen-facing digital transformation programmes. They are seeking a hands-on

Business Analyst

to bridge business needs and technical delivery across complex, multi-stakeholder environments. In this role, you will work closely with product, project, engineering, and vendor teams throughout the full project lifecycle — from discovery and design through to deployment and production stabilisation. This is a 12-month contract engagement based in Singapore, with the possibility of a 12-month extension, offering strong exposure to impactful public-facing digital systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and user needs, translating them into clear user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria

• Facilitate workshops and structured discussions with business users, product owners, engineers, and vendors to clarify requirements and support solution design

• Assess the impact of proposed changes and assist in prioritisation and scope decisions in collaboration with project stakeholders
  
• Develop and maintain process flows, data mappings, business rules, and requirements documentation to ensure comprehensive and accurate project artefacts
  
• Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability, support backlog refinement, and participate actively in sprint planning and agile ceremonies
  
• Analyse business and operational data, define relevant performance measures, and support the design of reporting and dashboard requirements
  
• Prepare test scenarios and coordinate system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT), tracking defects through to verified resolution
  
• Support deployment planning, change communications, operational readiness activities, and post-production stabilisation to ensure a smooth transition to business-as-usual operations
  

Requirements

• Around 4–6 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, preferably on enterprise or government digital transformation projects
  
• Proven ability to document business requirements, process flows, data mappings, and traceability matrices with a high degree of clarity and rigour
  
• Hands-on experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and managing requirements across cross-functional teams including business users, engineers, and third-party vendors
  
• Solid understanding of software testing practices, including the preparation of test scenarios and coordination of UAT and defect management cycles
  
• Experience working within agile delivery frameworks (e.g. Scrum or SAFe), including sprint ceremonies and backlog management (is a bonus)
  
• Prior exposure to citizen-facing digital services or public sector projects in Singapore (is a bonus)
