You will design, develop, test and maintain software for EMBL-EBI's UniProt import production pipeline in Cambridge, collaborating with the Ensembl team on data imports. Day to day includes data analysis and processing algorithms, production environment support, and promoting best coding practices.
EMBL-EBI in Cambridge is seeking a Software Engineer with a strong record in software development to contribute to the UniProt data resource. You will design, develop, test and maintain software for the import production pipeline and collaborate with the Ensembl team on data imports.
You will also assist with data analysis and processing algorithms, support the production environment, and promote best coding practices.
