Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop end-to-end business intelligence solutions.
• Implement data engineering and application development best practices to ensure efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval.
• Design, develop, and optimise data models, data pipelines, and data integration processes.
• Create and maintain scalable data warehouses and data marts.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using industry-leading tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform data analysis and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, performance, and reliability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; OR National Diploma in any IT related discipline.
• 3-8 years of experience as a BI Full Stack Developer/Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies and development.
• Solid understanding of data architecture principles and data modeling concepts.
• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem and related technologies (HDFS, Hive, Spark, etc.).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or related languages.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
