About the Role:

As a Benefits Account Manager, you'll be the go-to partner for clients when it comes to managing their employee benefits. In this role, you'll provide key day-to-day support for benefit renewals, helping clients explore new benefit options, and address any escalated billing or employee issues. You'll build trusted relationships with clients and carriers alike, making sure that every interaction reflects our commitment to service, accuracy, and care.

This role requires a valid Ohio Health & Life Insurance license; or the ability to quickly obtain one.

What You'll Do:

• Manage a portfolio of clients, serving as their primary point of contact for benefit-related support.
• Maintain strong client relationships, helping clients make informed decisions about benefit offerings and introducing new products when appropriate.
• Provide education and support to help clients and their employees understand benefit options and processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve workflows and ensure timely service delivery.
• Stay organized and accountable, managing tasks independently while keeping communication open with your team and clients.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, sharing ideas and feedback that help streamline processes and elevate the client experience.

What We're Looking For:

• Client-Focused: You care about helping people and do what it takes to provide great service.
• Detail-Oriented: You're thorough, accurate, and take pride in doing things the right way.
• Clear Communicator: You can explain benefits in a way that's easy to understand, whether over the phone, in writing, or in person.
• Problem-Solver: You're resourceful and proactive when issues arise, and you know when to ask for help.
• Team-Oriented: You enjoy collaborating but can also take initiative and work independently.
• HIPAA-Aware: You understand the importance of confidentiality and compliance, and you're able to manage sensitive information while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Independent & Accountable: You can work independently, take ownership of your tasks, and know when to loop in your team for support.

Why Join Us?

• Client-Centered Mission: Play a key role in helping businesses offer meaningful, compliant benefits to their employees.
• Supportive Team Environment: Work with people who care about what they do - and each other.
• Growth Opportunities: Expand your knowledge of benefits and business services in a company that encourages development.
• Make a Difference: Build long-term partnerships with clients and help them feel confident in their benefit decisions.
