Behavior Analyst in Training (BAT)

The Behavior Analyst in Training (BAT) supports ABA program implementation and quality of care in a Training Wheels ABA clinic under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). BATs work directly with clients and staff to ensure treatment plans are implemented with fidelity, data is accurately collected and summarized, and services run safely and effectively.

BATs are on the pathway toward earning eligibility for BCBA certification. BATs assist with clinical documentation and operational support for behavior analytic services, while not independently designing interventions or conducting assessments. All clinical programs, assessment decisions, and behavior intervention plan determinations are written and overseen by a BCBA, who determines duties based on training, experience, and demonstrated competence.
