Skyworks Solutions is hiring an onsite co-op student in Andover, MA (June/July–Nov/Dec 2027) to join its BAW design team developing high-frequency BAW filter modules for WiFi, automotive, infrastructure, and IoT customers. Work centers on mason-level circuit feasibility simulations, topology and stack parameter studies, EM simulations, and tape-out of new filter designs.

Skyworks Solutions is seeking a talented Co-Op for the development of new high-frequency BAW filter modules.
The selected individual will join the BAW design team focused on the design, development, and delivery of next-generation BAW filter designs to Skyworks’ WiFi, Automotive, Infrastructure, and IoT customers.
The successful candidate will utilize simulations, feasibility & topology studies, and technology assessmentstodeliver compelling products and help drive advanced technology development.
We are seeking a student to work onsite in our Andover, MA design center from June/July to Nov/Dec 2027.
Responsibilities
- Work activities include: mason level circuit feasibility simulations, topology studies, evaluation ofstackparameters, and their trade-offs
- Compiling complicated results and sharing with the team in a clean, concise, well-organized format ordesignreview
- Tape out new filter design
- EM simulations as necessary
Required Experience and Skills
- University student, currently enrolled in an MSEE/PhD Program in the field of acoustics (BAW preferred, but willconsider other similar acoustic fields)
- Must be able and available to work starting June/ July 2027
- Periodic online meetings with our international team is a requirement
Desired Experience and Skills
- Strong understanding of BAW device physics is a plus
- Good understanding of ladder filter topology and design techniques is also a plus
