Onsite co-op (Jan–May/June 2027) on Skyworks' BAW design team in Andover, MA, developing next-generation high-frequency BAW filter modules for WiFi, automotive, infrastructure, and IoT customers — running mason-level circuit and EM simulations, topology and stack trade-off studies, and taping out new filter designs.

Skyworks Solutions is seeking a talented Co-Op for the development of new high-frequency BAW filter modules.
The selected individual will join the BAW design team focused on the design, development, and delivery of next-generation BAW filter designs to Skyworks’ WiFi, Automotive, Infrastructure, and IoT customers.
The successful candidate will utilize simulations, feasibility & topology studies, and technology assessments todeliver compelling products and help drive advanced technology development.
We are seeking a student to work onsite in our Andover, MA design center from January - May/June 2027.
Responsibilities
- Work activities include: mason level circuit feasibility simulations, topology studies, evaluation of stackparameters, and their trade-offs
- Compiling complicated results and sharing with the team in a clean, concise, well-organized format or designreview
- Tape out new filter design
- EM simulations as necessary
Required Experience and Skills
- University student, currently enrolled in an MSEE/PhD Program in the field of acoustics (BAW preferred, but will consider other similar acoustic fields)
- Must be able and available to work starting January 2027
- Periodic online meetings with our international team is a requirement
Desired Experience and Skills
- Strong understanding of BAW device physics is a plus
- Good understanding of ladder filter topology and design techniques is also a plus
