Job Description:

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is a market leader in building the technology behind some of the world’s most advanced data centers and AI infrastructure. We help companies connect, protect, analyze, and act on their data and applications wherever they live—from edge to cloud.

Zerto was founded in Israel and acquired by HPE about five years ago. Our technology helps more than ten thousand organizations across healthcare, finance, industry, and other sectors keep their businesses running without disruption. We protect and recover applications across virtualization platforms such as VMware, HPE Morpheus VM Essentials, and Microsoft Hyper-V, as well as cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

Joining us means becoming part of a company that solves real problems for real customers while giving you the opportunity to learn, grow, and make an impact.

What will your work be like?

• Join a Zerto development team working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Develop new features and solve challenging bugs.

• Contribute to a distributed, multi-service system with complex business logic.

• Work with a modern, continuously evolving technology stack, including Kubernetes, .NET Core, virtualization APIs, and more.

• Use AI throughout the software development lifecycle—including research, design, coding, code reviews, environment provisioning, product deployment, and bug analysis—with tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenCode, Atlassian Rovo, and MCP servers.

Who you are

• A high-achieving undergraduate student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering, with a GPA of 85 or higher and at least two years of study remaining.

• Available to work three to four days per week (approximately 60%–80%) in a hybrid work model.

• A solid understanding of object-oriented programming using C#, C++, or Java.

• A self-motivated learner who can develop a broad understanding of complex systems through training, documentation, and independent exploration.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• A collaborative team player who can also work independently.

• Passionate about using AI in your daily work, eager to explore new AI-powered approaches, and committed to continuously improving how you use these tools.

The following experience is an advantage

• Multithreaded programming

• Virtualization and cloud platforms, such as VMware, Azure, and AWS

• Containers, Docker, and Kubernetes

• Agile methodologies

What’s in it for you?

• Join a top-notch team that will support and encourage your growth.

• Learn directly from leading developers in the industry.

• Gain hands-on, real-world experience with advanced technologies and Agile practices.

• Build your career at a global technology company with opportunities for professional growth and development.

• Enjoy a flexible, hybrid work environment that enables you to balance your studies and career.

• HPE encourages the use of AI in software development and everyday tasks. You’ll have access to a variety of AI tools that will help you expand your knowledge, gain practical experience, and discover new ways of working.
