Backend Developer

Key responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and improve backend services using Node.js

Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs and GraphQL APIs

Build and maintain real-time communication features using WebSocket

Implement real-time messaging and device communication using MQTT

Develop and maintain search functionality using Typesense

Implement and manage push notification services using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)

Design and optimize database queries and backend processes

Develop secure and scalable APIs for web and mobile applications

Integrate third-party services and external APIs

Troubleshoot bugs, investigate system issues, and improve application reliability

About you

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Backend Developer or Software Engineer

Strong experience with Node.js

Good understanding of REST API and GraphQL

Experience with WebSocket and real-time applications

Experience with Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)

Understanding of database design, optimization, and API security

Familiarity with Git and modern software development practices

Basic understanding of frontend development is required

Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
