Back-End Developer (Java/.NET) – Global Tech Team

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Back-End Developer (Java or .NET) under Italian Law 68/99 to join a dynamic, international team in a permanent role. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services and REST APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

You should have 2–5 years in back-end development, strong Java/Spring Boot or .NET/.NET Core skills, and experience with databases, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies.

Design, develop and maintain scalable and reliable back-end applications using Java or .NET technologies. Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrate back-end services with internal and external systems. Write clean, efficient and maintainable code following best practices and established development standards. Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including data modelling and query optimization where required. Collaborate with Front-End Developers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging and continuous improvement of existing applications and development processes. Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable and secure software architectures. Work in an Agile environment, actively participating in ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Meetings and Retrospectives. 2–5 years in Back-End Development with Java or .NET. Strong knowledge of Java/Spring Boot or .NET/.NET Core. Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and web services. Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Experience with Git and software development best practices. Knowledge of microservices architecture is a plus. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or Cloud technologies is a plus.
