The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving automation initiatives, enhancing platform reliability, and supporting the migration and optimization of applications within Azure cloud environments. Occasional visits to the Birmingham office are expected, typically once a month, to facilitate team collaboration and project alignment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer, with a strong background in cloud-native development and infrastructure management. Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure infrastructure is essential. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and automation tools to facilitate consistent and repeatable environment provisioning.
• Support the migration and modernization of existing applications, ensuring seamless transition into Azure cloud environments.
• Enhance monitoring, logging, and observability across all environments to improve system reliability and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and performance issues proactively to minimize downtime and ensure high availability.
• Ensure all environments adhere to security standards, resilience, and disaster recovery best practices, maintaining compliance with relevant policies.
