Azure Data Engineer to Handelsbanken

We are looking for a Cloud Data Engineer to help us build Handelsbanken's future cloud-based Data Platform to meet the bank's future data & analytics needs. You will be part of a good, evolving team, building out one of the bank's most strategic platforms.

Your Team
You will be part of a team of data engineers who are all passionate about building robust and scalable data pipelines. Your team is responsible for building and operating the foundations of the data modeling to enable scalable, reliable, and business-driven analytics on the data platform to enable data engineers from around the bank to build high-performant data pipelines and data products. The team will also be working closely to team within ingestion, data platform and BI and of course, our domains end-user around the bank.

The position is based at our office in central Stockholm.

You role

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and transformations in Azure Databricks and dbt, contributing to the evolution of our data architecture and engineering practices.
• Model and structure data for efficient use in analytics, reporting, and downstream applications, delivering well structured, accessible data products.
• Orchestrate and schedule data workflows using Databricks, Airflow and Azure Data Factory.
• Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability across the platform, including building data observability capabilities to monitor incoming data.
• Continually optimize and automate routine tasks and procedures, applying CI/CD practices to pipeline deployment.
• Collaborate closely with software developers, architects, business stakeholders, and platform engineers, actively contributing your knowledge, experience, and personality in team ceremonies (stand ups, backlog refinement, increment planning) and in building a high performing team.

On top of your technical tasks, you will be expected to actively contribute with your knowledge, experience and personality in building a high-performing team.
