Automation Engineer (Doors, Gates, Barriers or Shutters)

We are looking for experienced Automation Engineers to join our growing team, covering a range of sites across London. We are interested in engineers with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Gates & Barriers
• Roller Shutters
• Fire Shutters
• Automatic Doors

We are recruiting for engineers across North, East, Central, South and South West London, with opportunities available depending on your location, experience and area of specialism.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair of automatic doors, roller shutters, fire shutters, and gates and barriers
• Fault find mechanical and electrical issues.
• Carry out installation and commissioning works.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Complete service and maintenance reports accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service on site.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

• Previous experience with automatic doors, roller shutters, fire shutters or gates and barriers.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
• Positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Desirable:

• ADSA Certification
• DHF Qualifications
• BS EN 16005 knowledge
• Experience working on fire-rated door and shutter systems
• Experience with access control, gates and barriers
