Associate Technical Project Manager

Who we are

CloudifyOps is an AI & Digital Transformation partner. We pair over a decade of mission-critical cloud and DevOps engineering with strategic AI consulting, custom AI development, and managed operations - helping businesses modernize their IT infrastructure, optimize cloud operations, and accelerate software delivery through automation and best practices.

Beyond client services, we build our own products - MIXIMO, Lens, and DevOptymize - and run always-on Cloud, AI and Site Reliability operations for global clients across FinTech, EdTech, Healthcare, Automotive and Media Tech.

Culture at CloudifyOps

Working at CloudifyOps is a rewarding experience. We're built around five values - Ownership, Transparency, Learning, One Team, and Performance - and you'll feel them in how work actually gets done here, not just in a poster on the wall.

Great people, a work environment that thrives on creativity, a career path designed around feedback and progress - as well as the opportunity to take on roles beyond a defined job description are just some of the reasons you should work with us.

This role sits at the intersection of technology and delivery governance. You are expected to understand the technical solution well enough to challenge estimates, spot dependencies early, and hold both the team and the customer to agreed scope, effort, and timelines.

Project Planning

• Review project proposals to ensure in-scope and out-of-scope items, effort and cost estimation, deliverables, assumptions, and the proposed architecture are clearly defined.

• Analyze project requirements and prepare or update project timelines, delivery methodology, RACI, milestones, and deliverables.

• Ensure use cases and test cases are clearly defined before the project is onboarded to the delivery team.

• Prepare the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) before implementation and review it with the Technical Lead.

• Establish timelines and milestones and plan delivery within the approved budget.

Technical Project Management

• Develop a sound understanding of the technical deliverables and work closely with Architects and Technical Leads to identify and manage risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.

• Regularly review the technical solution and implementation progress with the Technical Lead to ensure planned activities are completed within the agreed timeline.

• Track project scope, schedule, effort, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per agreed scope.

• Assess project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans to minimize the impact of potential issues.

• Identify project blockers and follow the defined escalation hierarchy for timely resolution.

Delivery Across Project Types

• Migration and cloud projects: Manage end-to-end delivery of cloud migration, modernization, and infrastructure projects, tracking cloud-specific activities, technical dependencies, risks, and milestones with Architects and Technical Leads.

• Non-migration technical projects: Manage end-to-end delivery of AI PoC implementations, AI assessments, and similar engagements, ensuring requirements, use cases, test cases, technical deliverables, and timelines are clearly defined and aligned with the approved solution.

• Coordinate with the technical teams responsible for moving applications between Development, Test, Integration, and Production environments.

• Manage change requests across cloud migration activities and track all associated events to maximize system availability and avoid errors.

• Coordinate and conduct regular daily stand-ups and customer meetings, and maintain meeting minutes, action items, expectations, and discussion points.

• Prepare and share weekly project status reports covering progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and next steps.

• Maintain effective communication and coordination between customers, Sales, Architects, Technical Leads, Engineers, and other stakeholders.

• Keep clients, executives, and external partners engaged throughout the project lifecycle to sustain involvement and satisfaction.

Project Governance & Documentation

• Maintain key project documentation, including WBS, RACI, risk and issue registers, meeting minutes, status reports, decision and action trackers, and project closure documents.

• Ensure project activities and deliverables remain aligned with the approved scope, timeline, effort, and customer expectations.

• Drive project closure activities and ensure required deliverables, customer confirmation or sign-off, and closure documentation are completed.

Effort & Commercial Management

• Review team timesheets and effort utilization against approved project estimates, and maintain in line with agreed effort hours.

• Track project consumption and proactively highlight any effort or budget deviations.

• Obtain the final project consumption from the customer and coordinate with the Sales team for invoicing and partner-center billing.

Team Leadership & Reporting

• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, facilitate collaboration, resolve conflicts, and motivate team members to achieve project objectives.

• Drive difficult conversations with both customers and team members when a project needs to be brought back on track.

• Generate weekly and monthly reports aligned with the relevant metrics for each type of project - for example, resource utilization, technical evaluation of team members, and customer success data points.

Experience & Technical Background

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a development or engineering environment across Cloud migrations, DevOps, AI or SRE.

• Hands-on ownership of end-to-end delivery of platforms and products built on a modern technology stack (microservices, cloud, DevOps).

• Knowledge of cloud concepts, DevOps and AI principles and practices.

• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, applied to project management in cloud, DevOps and AI environments.

• Basic understanding of automation and scripting, security best practices, and Infrastructure as Code.

Core Skills & Attributes

• Strong leadership qualities to guide and motivate teams towards project success.

• Excellent communication skills to articulate project goals clearly, expectations, and progress to stakeholders, team members, and clients, supported by effective listening and negotiation skills.

• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and resources effectively.

• Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, analyze alternatives, and implement appropriate solutions promptly.

• Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of adjusting plans and strategies as needed.

• Ability to maintain composure, stay focused, and handle pressure while keeping the project on track.

License / Certification

• At least one of PSM, PMP, CSM, or a certification in any Agile project management methodology. SAFe certification is preferred.

  What You Can Expect

This is a delivery role with real ownership attached to it. Here is what the day-to-day looks like and what the role gives back.

• Ownership from the start: You will run projects end to end - planning, governance, customer communication, and closure - rather than supporting someone else's plan.

• Technical breadth: Direct exposure across cloud migration and modernization, infrastructure, managed operations, and AI engagements, delivered for global clients in FinTech, EdTech, Healthcare, Automotive, and Media Tech.

• Access to senior expertise: You will work daily with Architects, Technical Leads, and the Director - Delivery, with solution reviews and escalation paths that build your technical judgment over time.

• Customer-facing exposure: You will be the primary point of contact for customer stakeholders, which builds the communication and negotiation skills that shape a long-term delivery career.

• A defined path forward: A structured performance and feedback framework, with clarity on what growth looks like in the Delivery function.

• Scope beyond the job description: Opportunities to contribute to pre-sales, delivery process improvement, and internal governance as you build credibility.
