About the Team
DoorDash’s mission is to grow and empower local economies. DoorDash connects people with the local businesses they care about, helping grow businesses and the communities that support those businesses. The Growth Marketing team for the Dasher vertical is responsible for deploying our Dasher acquisition budget across all digital and performance marketing channels, with a focus on Dasher signups and marketing efficiency as our north star goal, working in close collaboration with the Strategy & Operations team for the Dasher vertical and our international Growth Marketing counterparts to achieve success.
About the Role
We are looking for a self-starter to join our Growth Marketing team as an Associate Manager, Growth Marketing for Dasher Acquisition. This is a high-impact individual contributor role with a high level of autonomy, responsible for the end-to-end management of all performance marketing channels — including search, social and other related channels — that drive Dasher signups across Australia and New Zealand.
You’ll work in lockstep with the Growth Marketing team for the Consumer business, partner closely with the Strategy & Operations team for the Dasher vertical, and collaborate with your international Growth Marketing counterparts based in the USA to share learnings and align on best practice. Leaning on the performance marketing agency for tactical execution.
In this role, you will be recognized as a functional marketing leader for the Dasher vertical. Operating with significant independence and ownership, you will report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager for Growth and Acquisition. You will oversee healthy budgets, construct the forecasts supporting your spend, and hold the autonomy to design and execute growth marketing strategies.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will have…
- Ultimate ownership over a significant budget and how we invest it to acquire Dashers efficiently across search, social and other performance channels.
- A clear line of sight on your impact — you’re accountable for Dasher signups, efficiency and the performance of your channels, with the autonomy to build and execute your own growth marketing plans.
- A high-visibility seat at the table, working closely with Strategy & Operations, the Consumer Growth Marketing team and your international Growth Marketing counterparts.
- A meaningful role in an innovative tech company that is a true challenger brand, invested in making waves across Australia and New Zealand.
- Long-term growth potential to take on broader scope and responsibility as the Dasher business scales.
We’re excited about you because you have…
- 6–10 years of experience in performance marketing, either in-house or agency side, across either B2C or B2B businesses.
- Direct, hands-on experience managing paid search, paid social and other performance channels, with a track record of owning end-to-end channel strategy.
- Confidence in building and owning forecasts, especially reworking them if plans change
- A self-starter mindset — comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and taking ownership of a north star metric.
- Confidence building and executing growth marketing plans that translate business priorities into scalable acquisition strategies.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience partnering across strategy, operations and international teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear readouts on performance marketing metrics to business stakeholders.
- Local market knowledge of the ANZ region and its nuances
- A strong POV on what great looks like for your channels.
