• Overseeing the overnight guest journey (you will support late arrivals and early departures, monitor service standards and step in to resolve more complex guest requests or complaints) – you will be confident making decisions, managing service recovery and creating a positive experience for every guest.
• Maintaining a safe and secure hotel overnight (you will coordinate relevant checks, respond appropriately to incidents and ensure accurate records and handovers are completed) – a strong understanding of health and safety, security and emergency procedures would be beneficial.
• Completing night audit and operational tasks (you will review reports, support cash and system checks, monitor the reception desk and ensure key information is ready for the morning team) – experience using Opera or a similar hotel system would be an advantage.
• Helping the team deliver consistently high standards (you will coach and support colleagues, provide clear shift handovers and work closely with other departments to keep the hotel running smoothly) – you will be organised, approachable and comfortable taking responsibility when the Night Manager is unavailable.
