Assistant Manager | Luxury Safari Lodge | Namibia
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join a prestigious luxury safari lodge in Namibia. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of a remote luxury property.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Lodge Manager with the overall day-to-day management of the property.

Maintain consistently high standards of guest service and hospitality.

Ensure all lodge operations run efficiently and in accordance with established standards.

Support and motivate the lodge team, fostering a positive and professional working environment.

Assist with staff scheduling, training, supervision and performance management.

Handle guest enquiries, requests and concerns professionally and efficiently.

Build strong relationships with guests and ensure a personalised luxury experience.

Monitor operational standards across guest areas, housekeeping, food and beverage and general lodge operations.

Assist with stock control, ordering and operational administration where required.

Support the management team with cost control and maintaining operational efficiencies.

Ensure health, safety and service standards are consistently upheld.

Act as a senior point of contact for the lodge in the Lodge Manager’s absence.

Work closely with guides, kitchen, housekeeping and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:

Previous management or supervisory experience within a luxury lodge, safari camp or high-end hospitality environment.

Strong understanding of luxury guest service and lodge operations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Confident leadership ability with a hands-on approach.

Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-focused under pressure.

A genuine passion for hospitality, conservation and the safari environment.

Ability to work effectively as part of a remote lodge team.

Professional appearance and a strong attention to detail.

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
Salary: Negotiable DOE / Market Related
