Assistant Financial Controller

Would you like to do the opening of our Mama Shelter Cape Town?

THE MISSION?

• You keep a hawk’s eye on costs, juggle margins like a pro, and make the numbers tell a story so that every penny counts. 🧐💸
• When it comes to stock, you're the guardian of perfect control: nothing goes missing, everything stays on your radar, right down to the very last bottle of gin! 🍸📦
• You turn Excel spreadsheets into masterpieces of clarity, and your reports are more eagerly awaited than a lazy Sunday brunch. 📊✨
• Head Chef, Sous Chef, F&B Director... you work hand in hand with the whole crew to keep the magic flowing, both in the kitchen and in the accounts. 👩‍🍳🤝
• Outstanding receivables? No worries. You chase them down with a smile (and a healthy dose of persuasion when needed). 💼😎
• With your insights, ideas, and sharp analysis, you help Mama’s finances shine, because managing the numbers well is an art form all on its own! 🌟📈

MADE FOR YOU? ONLY IF…

• You know the basics of accounting inside out and can navigate reports, client accounts, and inventories with your eyes closed. 💼📒
• Hotel and restaurant cost control is your playground. And if you’ve worked with OPERA or MICROS, that’s a total win! 🏨🍴
• Excel is your superpower. You create spreadsheets that are both impressive and functional (promise). 📊✨
• Super organised, you juggle deadlines and priorities without ever losing your smile. ⏳😄
• A rock-solid team player? Perfect, we love people who work collaboratively and bring positive energy to the table. ⛹‍♀️🤝
• You know local accounting and administrative regulations like the back of your hand. 📚

YOUR LITTLE EXTRAS :

• Attention to detail ? For you, it’s an art form. Your numbers are as precise as a Michelin-starred chef’s knife skills. 🔪✨
• You’re always the Banker in Monopoly. 💰
• Working flexible hours, evenings, weekends, or even holidays doesn’t faze you – you know how to keep your energy up. 🌙🕒
• And of course, you’re just as comfortable with the written word as you are speaking in English, always ready to communicate with clarity. 🗣🖊
