Architectural Design/Assistant

Role Overview

• Working alongside architect on concept development, design submissions, and project documentation
• Producing architectural drawings, layout plans, elevations, and detail drawings in AutoCAD, Revit, or comparable platforms
• Contributing to 3D models, renders, and presentation collateral supporting design proposals
• Helping compile drawing sets and paperwork for submission to the relevant authorities
• Attending site visits, taking site measurements, and supporting inspections as needed
• Liaising with consultants, contractors, and wider project stakeholders
• Supporting material selection, specification writing, and design research
• Updating drawings and documents in response to project needs and review comments
• Maintaining accuracy, currency, and proper organisation across all drawing and document records
• Taking on additional architectural and project duties as directed

What We're Looking For

• A Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Studies, or a comparable field
• Applications welcome from recent graduates as well as those with applicable experience
• Competent in AutoCAD; exposure to Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper, 3D Max, Lumion, or Adobe Creative Suite is viewed favourably. Working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Sound grasp of architectural drawings, core design principles, and construction documentation
• A creative mindset paired with strong attention to detail and personal discipline
• Capable of handling concurrent deadlines without compromising output
• Open to guidance and keen to develop
