Define the architecture and design methodologies for a new platform of digital compute and analog/mixed-signal semiconductor products, guiding global teams in microarchitecture and productization.
Platform Architect – Digital Compute, Analog & Mixed Signal Products
About Us
At onsemi, we help improve lives through silicon solutions every day. Our intelligent power and sensing technologies solve the world’s most complex challenges and lead the way in creating a safer, cleaner, and smarter world. Our group develops compute subsystems containing MCUs, DSPs, and accelerators, for a large variety of different products and markets.
The Role
This role presents an exciting opportunity to define the design architecture and methodologies for a new platform of digital compute and analog/mixed-signal products. As Senior Principal Engineer, you will define the design platform, targeting a large variety of different products. Your responsibilities will include architecture definition, design specification, RTL modeling and performance analysis. Also, you will get to define the design methodologies spanning the entire scope of chip design. You will have a central role within the organization, and you have the opportunity to interact with many product and design teams.
Why Join Us
We create a diverse set of world-class products in a friendly and team-oriented atmosphere. We provide an environment of continual learning and growth opportunities and support volunteer & charitable programs. We offer a competitive benefit package and a great place to work to build a career.
What You’ll Do
- Technical leadership: Define the architecture and methodology for a new design platform targeting a broad spectrum of products, covering elements of hardware and software
- Problem solving: Identify novel solutions when architecting product functionality and/or with design methodologies
- Technical guidance & mentoring: Guide world-wide teams in technical areas, from microarchitecture to productization
- Innovation: Define and create design methodology and design flow improvements for efficiency and robustness
